Technical journal for the professionals of the industry of both classical and high tech ceramics and researchers focusing their activity in laboratory and industrial development of materials, products and technologies. Started in 1970. Four-monthly. Official Journal of the Bologna Ceramic Center. Endorsed by the National Body for Ceramics and Silicates (ENCS). As from issue n° 3/4, 2003, C+CA incorporates the journal CERAMICA ACTA formerly published by the Bologna Ceramics Research Center. Published in cooperation with the National Association of the Italian Ceramics Industry (FEDERCERAMICA).
Original papers are published in Italian and English.
C+CA publishes original research studies and most significant results and applied research performed in Academia and Industry, which are finalized to product and technology innovation. In addition various section of the journal are devoted to present new achievements of processing technology and of materials and products control, state-of-the-art design of machinery and production plants, for all types of ceramic products (from traditional products based on clays to innovative materials for advanced applications), standards and norms, market statistics and trends, and general information for use of the professionals of ceramic industry and research.
